A little celebration...

Today I have two pieces of news that I'm incredibly proud to share.

I've been awarded a Distinction in Classical Latin through The Open University, and I've also been accepted to Dundee University to continue my studies in Medieval and Early Modern Scotland.

For me, these aren't just qualifications. Every course, every book, every archive and every new piece of history feeds directly into the stories I write. I'm passionate about creating historical fiction that feels authentic, and learning is as much a part of my writing process as putting words on the page.

There have been moments this year when continuing felt difficult, but today reminds me why I kept going.

Here's to the next chapter—more research, more history, more writing, and bringing Ava's story one step closer to your hands.
